Fiona de Lys

Fiona de Lys is an interior colour consultant and colour coach specialising in the interplay of hue, light and form to achieve schemes inspired by naturally harmonious combinations for every style.

Drawing on her personally developed methodology of reading colour in 3D, Fiona's philosophy is that a home grows by slow design, as a place to experience, celebrate and imagine moments between people and their surroundings - as an intimate space to commune with oneself, others, and precious possessions. When intentional colour design is used creatively in the home, Fiona advocates that it can help define people — by surrounding them with echoes of the chapters of their lives and evolving tastes. This, she has termed as creating an Aesthetic Narrative.

Drawing on her broad-brush portfolio, Fiona works with paint palettes born of craft, history and nature, re-imagined as colours by makers, artists and designers. As part of her colour consultancy service, Fiona also works alongside interior designers on client projects and offers Creative Consultancy to brands wanting to develop their product palettes. As an Interiors Stylist, Fiona has worked with Blue Chip companies and professionals across the media industry including filming, photography and presenting, whilst various contributions with comment and editorial styling are in the interiors press.
