We pride ourselves as a design led contemporary British furniture company. Creating beautifully individual, high quality pieces of furniture. Each piece lovingly made in Great Britain using the finest materials and skilled local makers.

British Design Shop is also proud to be a company member of the marine conservation society, a UK charity fighting for a cleaner, better-protected, healthier ocean: one we can all enjoy.

As part of this initiative, we have partnered like minded experts who can help us to understand more about what we can do to help. After analysis of our products, we have pledged not to use PFAS or forever chemicals and will also give £100 to the marine conservation society for every order of our new sustainable modular sofa collection called 'Lola'.

By taking this approach, we hope that our beautiful products will not only look great in your client's homes, but in a small way will help towards the future health of our oceans.

Our unique designs can be specified for each client on a one-to-one basis via our own studios and online. Each customer is treated individually in a relaxed way and with care, making sure you get a personal shopping experience from start to finish.
