The BIID works with committees to drive forward pressing issues within the interior design community, and to ensure that the way the BIID works delivers the most for its members and the wider industry.
Below are the members of the Diversity and Inclusion committee. The committee steer BIID strategy regarding diversity and inclusion. They drive forward an industry that celebrates and puts design talent first, regardless of race, age, sex, religion, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic.
Vertiy is the Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She is the founder of Rascal and Roses.
Jennifer Armstrong is an Interior Designer at Ar’mes Design
Rajashri Chakraborty is the creator of Interior Design Studio
Simon Hamilton is an Educator, Interior Designer, Moderator and Careers Mentor
Jane Kaula is an interior designer specialising in commercial design and furniture design.
Simran Kotecha is an Interior Designer at Simran Design.
Ishia Osborne is an interior designer at Ishia Interiors
Jo Sampson heads up the Brighton branch of Absolute Project Management
Shilpa Shah is the founder of Nirmana Design an interior design and bespoke natural fabrics supplier
Sharon Simpson is the Founder of Sharon Simpson Studio (formerly, Dark Romantix Design)
