House Renovation with Brick Slip Cladding

This house was like any other, plain, housing estate detached property- functional and part of a batch of houses. The owner decided it was time for a change.

Following conversations with our customer services team, he chose to clad his property half in white render, and half in our blend 4 brick slips, which would be accompanied by white pointing mortar, to tie it in with the render. To fix these to the existing property, he chose a backing board that could simply be screwed into the existing masonry, with railings to mean the courses of brick slips would be kept regular, making installation cheaper and easier.

The difference is incredible, even following the brick slips around the rear of the property to break up the render with the superb colours and textures of blend 4. Now, rather than blending in with the other houses nearby, this home stands out, and makes the owner proud to call it his own.
