Chameleon Designs Interiors project

Dulwich 1930's Ground floor refurbishment

The house built in the late 1930’s, was in poor condition and the work consisted of full renovation and refurbishment of the ground floor of the house. 2 living rooms one which had been part of an extension to the rear of the property carried out about 20 years ago; kitchen/dining space also part of the same extension. The décor and layout were poor, lacking a cohesive feel and the house hadn’t been decorated for the last 20 years.

One of the major requirements was high quality built in furniture in both living rooms. This was designed and specified and built, including high quality LED recessed lighting to add to the decorative nature of the rooms and to add additional layers of light. In the front living room this also incorporated building in and mounting the TV and hiding all the AV equipment in the cupboard below.

The success of the project can be summed up by the client feedback “We are very pleased with the house, and now have the space to display all our family treasures. We have a place to relax and some comfort.”
