Crowne Plaza Glasgow

We crafted some of Europe's largest lampshades for the elegant Mariner Restaurant in the Crowne Plaza. The design draws inspiration from the ships that once sailed the river flowing beside the hotel. The project's goal? To craft a grand centrepiece honouring the golden age of shipbuilding. The design cleverly mimics ships sailing by. We used 1.2 km of steel tubing and a whopping 17 km of 40mm-wide fabric ribbon. All lit up with LED lights and Dali dimmable drivers. It's a sight to behold, blending history and modern design beautifully.
