Along with wood, Carl Hansen & Søn’s most important material,  in our selection of accessories, we also focus on naturel sustainable materials such as: clay, glass, wood, wool, linen, paper.

 

All accessories are selected with a strict concept as the basis. It must be unique; it must be made by passionate craftsmen - preferably in nature’s own materials - and each piece must at all times be able to live up to Carl Hansen & Søn’s ultimate quality and workmanship.

  • Tapas Board. Design: Per Hauschildt. Tapas Board is part of a series of three boards. All the boards are made from offcuts from Carl Hansen & Søn's furniture production to minimise resource waste.

  • Porcelain collection, designed by the ceramicist Ditte Blohm. The set is characterized by the unusual shape and the very special surface decoration of Spike's "porcelain thorns". Experience the entire Ditte Blohm ceramic set at Carl Hansen & Søn Flagship Stores.

  • Murano crystal Bora glass, mouth-blown at Carlo Moretti. Each glass is made in a limited number at the family-owned glassworks. Carl Hansen & Son is the exclusive distributor of Bora glass in Denmark.

  • Børge Mogensen wooden plate. Beautifully crafted oak selected from leftover wood from furniture production, which further helps to make optimal use of our resources.

  • The Manta Flor wool rug is made of 100% sheep’s wool. Plaid inspired by nature’s colours and hand-woven in Portugal.

  • Handcrafted clay bowl inspired by Nordic design. Made in southern Spain from local material according to traditions dating back to the bronze age.
