Bathroom Brick Slips Renovation

This client wanted their plain and boring bathroom to be renovated, in order to bring some style to this part of their home. They wanted an earthy, industrial yet organic feel- with black fixtures to be installed and a wooden floor and vanity unit, they wanted something to bring it all together an provide an extra dimension.

The perfect product for this bathroom was the earthy tones of the blend 1 brick slips. The customer chose the grey pointing mortar to complement the slips, as opposed to the cream mortar- which would have brought extra brightness, but wouldn't have kept the industrial and organic colourings.

The styling with plants was the perfect final touch to the room, absolutely unrecognisable from the original space. To go with brick slips in a bathroom, you don't need to use a sealant, but there's also no harm in doing so, provided they are completely dry from the installation.
