Anna Burles BIID RegID

Anna is Creative Director of award-winning interiors and branding design studio Run For The Hills. The studio crafts captivating interiors, immersive spaces and evocative brand identities. They design for hospitality, hotels, work-clubs and boutique residential and are known for layering inventive details and hand-crafted artistry within their memorable designs; interweaving both interior design and brand/art creation.

Anna joined the BIID in 2010 as a Student Member, then Associate on graduation from KLC School of Design (where she Chairs the KLC Alumni Board). She became a Registered Interior Designer in 2014 and joined the Membership Committee in 2015, which she currently Chairs. Anna takes part regularly in BIID speaking events and has been a mentor at the BIID student design competition. She reviews and inputs to BIID marketing initiatives such as the student/career guide pieces and through being an active committee member Anna has built networks and rewarding collaborations with other Registered BIID designers. This included a partnership with former President Lester Bennett to create an education piece for the BIID website, creating a short animation and Responsibilities Matrix, exploring the relationship between Architect and Interior Designer.

Anna is excited to join the Board of Directors and is proud to represent the BIID. She is passionate about promoting the status, credibility and open-book integrity of our wonderful, professional interior design industry, fostering trust and value amongst Clients and wider Project Team Stakeholders.

Anna and her husband Chris Trotman co-founded Run for the Hills 11 years ago.
